Jim Eggert has over thirty years of experience in estates, trusts and guardianship. Jim grew up in Tampa, Florida, attended the Academy of the Holy Names, and graduated from Jesuit High School. Jim graduated with a degree in History and Philosophy from Wheaton College in 1989 and obtained his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1992.
He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and was past Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section.
He has lectured on probate, estate planning and living wills and has practiced for many years in those areas as well as in guardianship administration, including contested matters and appeals.
Jim spends most of his free time volunteering and serving his church.
Jim enjoys helping people with planning for the future and providing solutions for legal problems that arise out of death and incapacity.
